Synthratek VX Upper
Constructed using a synthetic upper, the Zenist Pro Climbing Shoes ensure comfort and support. The upper sits comfortably against the skin and has minimal stretch to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free climbs. An extended toe rand runs around the edge of the shoe to provide added protection from loose debris and terrain plus, it increases toe hooking for a more efficient climb. As well as this, a variable Thickness Rand system puts thinner rand rubber in areas to reduce pressure points and hot spots around the foot as well as thicker rubber for increased longevity in the high wear zones near the toe for durability and performance. Unlike the Zenist the Pro features EVOWRAP tension technology and Power Locke Heel. The EVOWRAP is a revolutionary tension technology using a proprietary 3-point strap system combined with an elastic energy return midsole, providing complete comfort when the shoe is on, the Power Locke Heel keeps the foot secure and reduces in-shoe movement. Completing the upper is a single closure strap which provides a supportive and powerful fit for increased midfoot comfort.
EVOWRAPTM Midsole
The midsole of the Zenist Climbing Shoes is made from a full-length 1.0mm tensioned rubber that is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. The midsole incorporates a blend of rigidity without sacrificing sensitivity. Increased sensitivity is important when climbing as it allows you to get a feel of the rock or ground beneath you before committing.
TRAX SAS 4.2mm Outsole
Providing you with the best friction out there, the TRAX SAS Outsole adds maximum durability. The outsole maximises your performance in the gym and on the rock with the stickiest rubber compound available. The high friction rubber allows you to grasp onto the smallest foothold and edge your way onto angled terrain; this versatile compound supports climbers as they cruise up the most technical terrain. The sole's job is to make sure you don't slip especially on uncompromising climbs and the Trax SAS is there to support you at all times.
