Textile Upper
Constructed using a textile upper, the Dropset 3 guarantees comfort, breathability and support. Encasing each foot with a breathable layer, your feet will remain cool, dry and comfortable no matter how intense your training becomes. The shoes also use adidas' HEAT.RDY body-mapping technology to ensure the precise placement of ventilation zones that work to keep the feet cool. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow in the most needed areas, allowing your feet to breathe and creating a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. The uppers also feature TPU sidewalls that lock in the midfoot, providing additional structure to the upper and protecting from knocks and scrapes, keeping them looking in top condition. The flexible nature of the upper allows you to have an enhanced range of motion yet still promotes lockdown when moving side to side. Completing the upper is a traditional lace closure that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.
Dual Density EVA Midsole
The midsole unit is constructed using two different-density EVA foams. EVA runs through the entire midsole, providing superb energy return and cushioning you through every movement. Firmer EVA can be found outside surrounding softer EVA inside. The dual-density midsole provides a shoe with increased stability without sacrificing comfort. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you move on hard, unforgiving surfaces. A 6mm midsole drop gives you a flat and stable platform and helps you find proper alignment through lifting exercises. The shoes have a wider base helping to increase stability and stop your ankle from rolling during heavy lifts. The midsole is finished with Geofit Sensepods that follow the natural form and function of the heel for instant comfort at step-in and lock-down effect.
Traxion Outsole
The Dropset 3 utilises a traxion outsole using Continental rubber, offering optimal grip on multiple gym surfaces. The rubber protects against wear and tears whilst ensuring high traction across varied surfaces, the Traxion outsole adds a secure grip anywhere these shoes take you. The sole has been combined with Continental rubber in high-wear areas to improve grip whilst still offering long-term durability.
