Deuter Groden 32 Backpack
A classic from Deuter, the Groden is a nostalgic-looking pack with modern technologies, like Deuter's Aircomfort system for lightweight carrying comfort.
This pack has a retro vibe with all the benefits of the modern age. The pack uses an Aircomfort system which provides maximum ventilation to keep your back cool and comfortable during high-heat adventures. The back system has a resilient core using a round profile permanent elastic spring steel frame, to keep the pack stable and secure, whilst the special airy mesh works to prevent overheating and keep you cool on the move. Sweat is also quickly removed, to ensure that your back remains dry when things get hot. The mesh back system suspends the bag away from the back for advanced ventilation, allowing air to flow between the back and the bag for comfortable wear even when temperatures rise. This means your back can breathe, and your bag won't become damp with excess moisture, protecting the contents. This back system also prevents items in your bag from jabbing and poking you in the bag, reducing the risk of injury. A sternum strap and a hip belt with ergonomically shaped, compact hip fins provide carrying comfort and help to distribute the weight of your pack. The mesh membrane works to wick sweat away from the body so you can stay cool, dry, and comfortable, perfect for those long hikes and journeys.
The Groden 33 features a variety of pockets for safe and secure storage of essential items. An inside compartment is ideal for keeping your valuables safe. Zippered side pockets and a zippered front pocket provide easy storage for items you want close to hand whilst an elasticated inner compartment is great for airing wet clothes on the move and ensures that your other equipment remains dry. The lid of the Groden is ultra-secure with two buckles and adjusts to allow for extra storage, such as for sticking in a waterproof layer, and features a zippered compartment for further storage. A rain cover helps keep your kit dry and pole holder loops provide a place to keep poles when not in use. The pack is crafted from a robust blend of 225D PES (1500mm water column) and 600D PES polyester with a PU coating for durability and is finished with a PFA-free DWR for an eco-conscious choice that keeps your gear dry.
