The Groden has been part of the Deuter range since 1984 and was the first pack to feature the evolutionary Aircomfort back system.
With a retro style coupled with tough fabrics, clever design and carrying comfort, it makes the Groden an ideal pack for daily travels or weekly treks. This version of the Groden is designed especially for women, focusing on providing the highest levels of comfort and breathability without adding excessive weight. The female-specific design allows it to fit the natural contours of the female back, therefore providing a better overall experience. The padded shoulder straps are designed to be thinner, anatomically curved and set closer together to reduce strap slippage. Constructed with a round steel frame that delivers extreme durability which provides stable tension for the back mesh, therefore guaranteeing great freedom of movement and a perfect fit. For added carrying comfort, a sternum strap fits comfortably across the chest to help stabilise the pack on the shoulders. For maximum comfort, the tensioned Aircomfort special mesh creates an effective ventilation space between the backpack and the wearer to allow moist air to disperse freely. The patented Deuter 3-side ventilation reduces the loss of fluids by up to 25%.
The pack features various-sized pockets for all your needed essentials. Pockets can be found on the outside and in the lid compartment for those items you need quick access to, whilst a special pocket inside the pack is perfect to store valuable items. An additional compartment can be found inside the pack which is useful for separating dirty/wet clothes from clean clothes. The pack is fitted with attachment loops which can be used for accessories such as a hiking pole when not in use, and lastly, a rain cover can be found in the pack to keep the contents of your bag dry and safe when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
