Veja Dekkan Walking Shoes
Collaborating alongside Vibram, the Dekkan Shoes are a technical model for outdoor activities. Inspired by Veja running technology and Vibram's know-how, the Dekkan is a comfortable, technical and resistant shoe that combines functionality and high-performing components.
Alveomesh Upper
Supplying feet with exceptional levels of breathability, flexibility and lightness, the Dekkans utilise Veja's own Alveomesh materials for the uppers. The materials are lightweight, with strategically placed perforations, providing feet with a great level of cool, breathability allowing feet to thrive under pressure. Not only this, but the materials are moisture-wicking, meaning a build-up of sweat and moisture is prevented, to keep you dry and comforting during intense sessions. These materials have also been made exclusively from recycled polyester, providing you with a great sustainable footwear option for your next run or hiking adventure. A combination of TPU and rubber panels reside around the foot to provide you with a seamless secure fit, with high levels of protection for feet, as well as increased durability, enhancing the lifespan of these shoes. Additionally, the shoes have traditional laces to provide you with a locked-in and secure fit, enhancing the in-shoe comfort, as well as, a back loop to assist with putting the shoes on. The shoes also come with a second set of laces for versatility, and allowing you to change up your look.
EVA Midsole
Utilising an EVA compound, the midsole of the shoes works to cushion the foot upon impact, reducing the stress and strain placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot and ankle. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. This means you don't lose momentum, and forward movement feels like a breeze, all culminating in fatigue reduction, so you go further with ease.
Vibram Outsole
Providing you with exceptional levels of underfoot traction and support on differing, tricky terrains, the Veja Dekkan utilises a Vibram outsole. This outsole is a technical companion that works to provide you comfort on the trail ahead. Allowing large amounts of protection for your feet, the outsoles have waterproof components, as well as, are highly durable, supplying you with a long-lasting pair of shoes you can rely on to provide you confidence on the trail. The grippy, durable lugs work to dig deep into the ground below, providing grip and traction across muddy or wet grounds.
