Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper is crafted from a one-piece engineered mesh with seamless TPU protection. The mesh works incredibly hard to allow air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The mesh is also extremely comfortable next to the foot decreasing distractions and irritation that can occur on longer runs. It is lightweight and flexible, moving with your foot for comfort and ease of use, whilst no-sew overlays reinforce the shoe, providing critical protection without sacrificing speed and feel. A traditional lacing system locks down the foot for great stability, security and control. The shoes combine a tight and secure fit around the foot with an anatomic toe box. The result is a running shoe that fits like a glove for maximum power transmission during intense racing and at the same time allows your toes to spread out for optimal comfort and a more natural stride.
Ultra Platform Midsole
Ultra Platform is the ultra-lightweight foundation on which Craft build the Ultra series running shoes. The platform includes a perfect balance between stack height, drop and foot angle to enable runners to keep their form as effortlessly as possible, which is essential when you want to run fast during a sustained period of time. The main component of the Ultra Platform midsole is UD Foam, which is a lightweight and durable midsole foam that delivers consistent propulsion over a long period of time. This EVA-based foam adds a unique chemical compound for enhanced rebound and durability. This high-quality midsole foam is fast, light and long-lasting. An Ultra Rebound insole offers maximum energy return and performance on varying off-road surfaces.
2-Piece Lugged Traction Outsole
The outsole has been crafted from a 2-piece lugged traction rubber outsole which performs in harsh terrain and in varying weather conditions. It is robust and resists damage, meaning you can push further without fear. It is highly grippy, forming a solid bond with the ground beneath to allow for a propulsive feel and confident strides. The deep and varied lug pattern creates great traction in every direction, helping you to make those quick turns and severely reducing slippage. This means you can have the edge and confidence you need to perform to your best.
