Mammut Classic HMS Screwgate Carabiner

A versatile, medium-sized pear-shaped carabiner, the Classic HMS Screwgate is ideal for belaying.

An easy-to-operate carabiner, the Classic HMS Screwgate has a screw locking closure which is usable in all weather and conditions. It has the optimum shape for constructing belay stations and for belaying using a HMS knot or belay device. The product allows the rope to run smoothly to reduce the wear of the rope. The key lock nose makes it easy to clip and unclip the carabiner without it snagging, and an orange marking is a safety feature that provides a warning when the carabiner is not screwed closed.
