Performance Mesh Upper
Just like the 3rd iteration, the Under Armour Charged Pursuit 4 has been constructed using an extremely lightweight and breathable performance mesh upper to enhance the ventilation of your feet. Although extremely lightweight, this provides strategic support to increase stability. The update sees Under Armour use a seamless construction; this reduces friction points, reducing the risk of irritation so that you can run distraction-free. Under Armour included an external TPU heel counter to provide additional structure. Foam padding around the collar and tongue has been added for an improved fit and feel. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks in the midfoot for distraction-free strides.
Charged Cushioning Midsole
The Charged Pursuit 4 has been engineered with Charged Cushioning. This is made from compression-moulded foam for durable cushioning, optimum energy return and even greater responsiveness. The compression-moulded foam matches the energy given with maximum power returning, allowing you to give your optimum performance even longer. The cushioning absorbs the impact of your foot strike, attenuating shock impact to reduce fatigue and protect your joints whilst converting the energy into responsive comfort. Increasing underfoot comfort, Under Armour has included a deluxe foam sockliner for added softness when putting the miles in. This moulds to your foot for added underfoot comfort.
Full Rubber Outsole
The shoes feature a full rubber outsole to ensure reliable traction on various surfaces. With its updated chevron tread design, the shoes form a solid bond on multiple surfaces, ensuring you are always in full control. Even in wet conditions, the rubber forms a strong connection, anchoring you in place for stability. Lightweight but extremely durable, the rubber ensures you have the confidence to perform at your optimum level no matter the conditions you are running in. Anatomically placed flex grooves offer proper flexibility in key areas without sacrificing traction or grip.
