GORE-TEX Upper
Keeping you protected, comfortable and ready to tackle the trails ahead, the Cevedale Pro GORE-TEX features a Suede Leather upper construction, which is super durable, lightweight and breathable for optimum comfort. The durable materials encase each foot in a layer of hard-wearing protection, to allow feet to remain cool, fresh and well-protected from knocks, bumps and scrapes on the trail. Moisture-wicking properties also assist in keeping the feet dry from sweat or moisture, by drying it from the surface of your skin and dispersing it through the structure for dry, cool feet. A GORE-TEX lining works alongside this to prevent wet and unpredictable weather from ruining your hike, ensuring dry, fresh feet. A hybrid rubber rand offers added grip and protection when you need it most, however with low weight. The boots feature a redesigned soft cuff tongue, and down-to-the-toe lacing with a 2 Zone Lacing system and an X-Lacing Light design, for an individualised fit and feel, with easy adjustability, and technology that holds the tongue in place, to reduce slipping and pressure points or blisters. Finally, a stretch gaiter adds protection and comfort, preventing dirt, debris and stones from entering the boots on rocky trail conditions.
EVA Midsole
To ensure soft, comfortable strides through the mountains, the Cevedale Pro GORE-TEX Mid features a responsive EVA midsole compound. The midsole is super durable with great cushioning properties to protect your feet from impact on trails and ensure a soft, comfortable landing. With shock absorption, the boots prevent the risks of injury or discomfort by absorbing shocks when striking down on tricky and changing trail conditions, softening your landing, and keeping you confident.
Vibram Scalatore Evo Outsole
The Cevedale Pro GORE-TEX Mid utilises a Vibram Scalatore Evo Outsole construction for optimum grip and traction across a variety of surfaces and trail conditions. The outsole is specifically designed for use on high alpine summits, providing you with a high level of grip. With a large contact area and specialist rubber compound, the outsole offers optimum grip, and a "Climbing Zone" at the tip of the sole provides you with precise movement. A reinforced TPU crampon mount makes the boots compatible with a semi-automatic crampon (C2) for added grip and all-day crampon security.
