Nubuck Leather and Waterproof Upper
The upper of the Breeze is crafted from nubuck leather for increased durability and protection. The upper is robust, providing abrasion-resistant protection and long-lasting durability. Avoiding damp feet Vasque has included a VasqueDry waterproof membrane which delivers breathable waterproofing, allowing built-up heat to escape whilst sealing out water and moisture externally to keep you dry from the inside out. VasqueDry Waterproof technology is a sustainable choice for shedding water, made with 25% recycled materials. For increased breathability, the boots have mesh panels that encourage cool air to enter the boots while releasing built-up heat creating a comfortable environment for your feet to thrive in. The boots have a mid-height design to provide ankle support on uneven terrain reducing the risk of injury. using Vasque's Arc tempo last the boots have a wider toe box for increased comfort whilst creating a bigger surface area for better stability. Overlays across the toes provide increased protection from sharp rocks or debris on the trail whilst protecting them from damage. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that lets you lock in the fit for confident strides.
EVA Midsole
Featuring an Endurolast Bio EVA midsole made with 20% sugarcane, the Vasque Breeze offers lightweight, durable cushioning. EVA cushion the foot upon impact, reducing the stress and strain placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot and ankle. This reduces injury risk short and long-term, as footstrikes are buffered. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. This means you don't lose momentum and forward movement feels like a breeze, culminating in fatigue reduction, so you go further. The boots include a dual-density EVA footbed for a soft feel that helps to dampen impacts keeping feet comfortable wear after wear.
Vasque Trail Strider Outsole
Completing the Boots is a Vasque Trail Strider outsole. This high-performing rubber offers grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to easily tackle tricky terrain whether the surface is wet or dry. Providing excellent multi-directional traction, the outsole features multi-directional lugs that dig into the ground providing you with a solid base to push off from whilst providing a sure footing. A defined heel brake offers added control on descents and durability for the long haul.
