GORE-TEX Upper
Constructed using a combination of stretch mesh fabric and nubuck leather, the Dolomite Braies Up GORE-TEX Walking Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The upper has been created with a stretch mesh fabric that moves with the foot to provide ultimate comfort while allowing built-up heat to escape and cool air to flow for a comfortable wearing experience. Nubuck leather overlays protect from debris and sharp objects and minimise wear and tear. The overlays also add structure to the mid-cut shoe increasing ankle support. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A traditional lacing system completes the shoes, locking in the midfoot for reduced in-shoe movement for distraction-free movement.
EVA Midsole
Designed to provide comfort and protection on uneven terrain, the construction of the midsole uses varied thickness EVA foam. The EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. EVA is extremely firm, absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. Dolomites Anatomic System Light offers a comfortable fit and works to make walking easier by reducing fatigue and improving posture. Dolomite DAS Light combines an ergonomic last and footbed bringing greater stability and balance so you can go further for longer.
