GORE-TEX Upper
Designed to provide comfort and protection, the Berghaus Supalite ll GORE-TEX Walking Boots are the perfect addition to your hiking wardrobe. Constructed using a tough but supple leather, the walking boots offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The soft leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a boot you can truly rely on. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. Memory foam in the collar and tongue ensures a tailored fit and offers maximum comfort so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Lightweight EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, a breathable, cushioned Ortholite footbed ensure long-lasting underfoot comfort. The insole allows for ample ventilation so your feet remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times.
Vibram Rubber Outsole
Developed using a Vibram outsole, the Supalite II provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing on varied terrain. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping.
