GORE-TEX Upper

Not only this, but the uppers are highly flexible and robust, offering you well-targeted support. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Ortholite Midsole
Providing you with adaptable cushioning and support, a super cushioned Ortholite Multisport footbed lies at the base of your foot. This keeps your feet comfortable all day long, whilst also being removable, ensuring a perfect fit. This flexible inner sole supports your foot perfectly by moulding to your feet. Not only this, but Ortholite has breathable properties, ensuring your feet stay cool.
Vibram OPTI-STUD Outsole
Developed for maximised grip and traction, the Explorer FT Active's boast an OPTI-STUD sole patterning, powered by Vibram, for enhanced durability. The soles have been developed to assist you on a range of different terrains. Even when faced with abuse from the ground the rubber can stand up against this, deflecting blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Providing multi-directional grip, the outsole ensures traction even on the more varied terrain, giving you confidence and stability in rocky conditions. Providing even further protection and durability, there is a rubber printed rand around the toe, heel and sides of the shoe, avoiding bumps and scrapes from debris, and keeping your feet more comfortable.
