Engineered Mesh Upper
The monofilament engineered mesh upper is designed to wrap the foot like a second skin. FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The Novablast running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. Another factor that helps give the shoe an excellent underfoot feel is the nearly 10 millimeters of added midsole material. This, combined with the soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. Flytefoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used for the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping.
