ASICS Novablast 2 Running Shoes
The Novablast 2 shoes is a great way to meet your training goals while moving towards a clear mindset. For the second version of this series, ASICS wanted to create a smoother and more responsive feel underfoot. The TPU heel stabiliser is designed to improve support while producing a smoother stride. By fine-tuning the FF Blast cushioning, the shoe offers a softer landing and a more energetic rebound. The outsole's wider basinet creates a more balanced landing while propelling your foot forward.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The double engineered jacquard mesh upper is designed to wrap the foot like a second skin. The upper provides excellent comfort and support with a heel stabiliser that helps to support the foot further and create a more balanced stride. The engineered mesh has a perforated construction that allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The Novablast 2 running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast 2 is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Blast technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times.
