ASICS Noosa Tri 13 Running Shoes
The NOOSA TRI 13 shoes are built for triathletes, but they're not the only ones who can appreciate this model. With the addition of GUIDESOLE technology, this shoe just got lighter in weight and is now designed for a wide range of runners.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Engineered mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Lightweight and highly breathable for all-temperature comfort, the mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. As well as radical ventilation, the double-layer construction delivers a premium fit that improves flexibility and decreases irritation-causing wrinkles (because we know how rubbing and blisters can ruin your day) while maintaining its lightweight nature. A soft and padded tongue and ankle collar reduce the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing, whilst a heel tab will also make it easy to secure the fit of the shoe over the rearfoot. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
FlyteFoam Midsole
Guaranteeing a cushioned and lightweight ride, the FlyteFoam midsole will allow you to push yourself faster without compromising any cushioning and protection. This innovative technology makes the midsole 55% lighter than the industry standard of midsoles, taking a lot of weight off to allow you to push on further and faster. In addition to this, the FlyteFoam offers an exceptional level of cushioning which can be felt on each step. This will mean that less stress is placed on joints like the knees and ankles, reducing the risk of injuries and fatigue to keep you feeling fresh no matter what distance you are covering. Within the FlyteFoam, the midsole has super fibres which will bounce back to their original shape after impact, providing resilience and exceptional durability over a long period of time.
AHAR+ Outsole
The AHAR+ outsole on the Noosa Tri 13 will make sure that you will stay in complete control with exceptional grip. The rubber is able to cling onto a wide range of different surfaces, holding you firmly in a solid and controlled position. The high abrasion rubber will protect itself from damage on hard surfaces, improving the long-term functionality of the outsole. As well as this, GuideSole Technology aims to lessen the overall load placed on lower limbs by implementing a curved sole design. These elements help increase running efficiency by reducing the movement of the ankle. This technology is proven to help runners feel fresher longer, creating a smoother and more comfortable ride. The soft, curved nature of the sole works with the stiff forefoot to increase running efficiency and reduce ankle flexion. The reduction in ankle flexion allows other muscle in the leg such as the calf to increase in efficiency so they can work less and achieve more.
