ASICS Gel-Task 3 Court Shoes
The Gel-Task 3 indoor court shoe features a versatile design that provides exceptional support, flexibility and cushioning. With its rugged forefoot wrap design, this shoe provides flexibility and snug support for multi-directional movement. This sneaker is also made with durable synthetic leather and mesh panels to keep your feet dry. In addition, the GEL technology in the forefoot attenuates the violent shocks that can occur during a jump or a sudden stop.
Soft Wrap-Around Upper
Featuring a wrap-around structure, the uppers of the Gel-Task 3 from ASICS help to improve stability on the court, perfect for quick movements, brakes and changes in direction. Open mesh will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays swathe the midfoot and heel to improve durability plus stability whilst synthetic leather reinforcement on the toes protects from bumps and injury. The overlays unite with the lacing system to promote complete lockdown, anchoring you to the midsole and reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides.
At least 20% of the shoe's main upper material is made from recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
EVA / GEL Midsole
An insole is produced with the solution dyeing process which reduces water consumption by around 33% and carbon emissions by around 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology. It provides excellent underfoot cushioning. EVA resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot cushioning across the court; it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Embedded within the midsole platform is the Forefoot GEL Cushioning System. The silicone-like material works to absorb shock upon impact, protecting your ankles and knees whilst promoting a smooth transition. The GEL technology in the forefoot provides good shock absorption and a softer ride feel.
Non-Marking Outsole
The Trusstic System stretches out under the arch to increase stability; it reinforces the middle part of the sole, stopping it from twisting excessively and therefore diminishing the risk of the inward/outward rolling that might cause injury. A non-marking rubber outsole completes the Gel-Task 3. Its chevron traction pattern delivers multi-directional grip while a pivot point accommodates sharp turns and quick transitions.
