Mesh Upper

Overlays supplement the adaptive fit of the Gel-Tactic 12, engaging with the lacing system to promote complete lockdown - anchoring you to the midsole and reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free exercise.
GEL Technology Midsole
The midsole of the Gel-Tactic 12 will provide you with comfort, protection and responsiveness. The midsole is extremely springy, helping every step feel extremely comfortable. Creating excellent comfort, the GEL technology cushioning unit in the heel is functional for providing better shock absorption, reducing the impact and weight placed on the knees, ankles and other joints. Additionally, every step you take when running (or making short, sharp movements) will be enhanced by the responsive midsole, providing an added spring in your step to help you push on past your opponents. For improved stability, the midsole uses ASICS' developed Trusstic System. This moulded component will work to control torsion, helping you to change direction at speed without fear of twisting or causing damage to the shoe or your foot.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Grip and control on the court are guaranteed with the durable rubber outsole. Able to form a solid bond with the court surface, the Gel-Tactic 12 will keep you firmly in charge as you will be able to grip yourself into a solid position. The rubber is also anti-abrasion, which will mean that the shape and definition of the outsole will be retained. As well as this it can create a strong bond with any ground beneath it, helping you stay in full control. This will improve the long-term functionality of the shoe. The wrap-up outsole rigger offers better support during side-to-side movements, whilst flex grooves in the outsole improve flexibility.
