Mesh Upper
The upper is crafted from a lightweight mesh for highly breathable comfort. Excess heat and vapour can easily escape through micro-perforations and fresh cool air can flow in for ventilated, cool-feeling feet. A traditional lacing system locks down the foot for excellent stability and control, allowing you to make quick, decisive movements in confidence. Strategic overlays add durability, stability and abrasion resistance for longer-lasting enjoyment and protection from injury.
FluidRide Midsole
A twin-layer structure is made of lightweight Solyte and high bounce SpEVA. The cushioning properties of Solyte absorb impact when striking the ground, while the rebound qualities of SpEVA enhance movement into the next step. Also included is ASICS' Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning System. The cushioning systems are placed within the shoe's midsole at key impact areas to work in conjunction with the midsole material to attenuate shock during impact and toe-off phases, allowing movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. The Dynamic DuoMax support system reduces weight impact and increases platform support, while the Trusstic System and Guidance Line technology enhance gait efficiency by maintaining mid-foot structural integrity. Platform comfort is further enhanced by a 45-degree full-length SpEVA foam material which feels soft and pleasant along the entire foot, while a moisture management EVA sockliner keeps feet dry by drawing sweat away from the skin.
AHAR Plus Outsole
Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. This exceptionally durable compound is 50% more durable than standard ASICS High Abrasion Rubber.
