A Flexion Fit vamp improves protection, using a no-sew PU construction to defend your feet (and shoes) through powerful lateral movements, without adding weight or compromising flexibility. Overlays unite with an external heel counter to promote complete lockdown; they help to anchor you to the midsole, improving stability whilst reducing in-shoe slippage. Two layers of memory foam line the heel collar, moulding to the athlete's foot for a personalised fit. This contoured cradle offers extra stability during harsh, cross-lateral movements; minimising in-shoe slippage for a firm fit and reduced risk of an ankle injury. An anti-gravel tongue repels kicked-up debris so that you can enjoy distraction-free exercise. The PGuard, a rubber/resin compound, wraps the toes for enhanced durability and protection from toe drag. Asics have designed and integrated their new Dynawall technology. This offers added midfoot stability during lateral movements as well as coast-to-coast coverage.
Speva Midsole
A Ortholite sockliner lies atop a cushy midsole to supply an extra layer of plush and hygienic step-in comfort. A treat for your feet on high-intensity days, the product is enriched with sweat repelling properties plus moisture management and a high level of breathability. SpEVA resides in the midsole to supply lightweight cushioning. 20% more responsive than standard EVA, the rubber/foam compound boasts extreme resilience whilst it infuses every stride with the kind of power you need for a zealous game of tennis. Embedded within the midsole platform, are the Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems. The silicone-like material effectively absorbs shock and protects your feet from high-impact strikes, sparing your joints as you leap and land onto hard, unforgiving court surfaces. ASICS contrast their cushioning with the Dynamic Duomax Support System. Implemented on the medial side and positioned sport-specifically, it helps to control pronation; enhancing stability and support without sacrificing lightweight or comfort.

An AHAR+ (ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber) non-marking outsole completes the ASICS Gel-Resolution 8 Clay Tennis Shoes. Strategically placed in high-stress areas, it supplies excellent cushioning and grip without compromising the shoe's permanence. The rubber outsole is able to form a strong bond with a wide range of surfaces so you can keep in control as you move around the court. The multidirectional outsole has an abundance of lateral support for side-to-side movements so you can cut and change direction with ease. Lastly, the outsole is specific for clay courts.
