Engineered Mesh Upper
Encasing feet with a layer of comfortable mesh, the upper construction of the Altra Vanish Carbon provide feet with exceptional breathability and total comfort. The soft construction allows your foot to move comfortably, providing more adaptable strides. Not only are the uppers stylish and contemporary, but they aid in preventing uncomfortable heat build-up, with the ability to quickly disperse heat through the perforations in the fabrics. The shoes also have a Slim FootShape Fit, Altra's most slim-fitting option for your shoes. This allows feet and toes to relax, and sit more naturally, providing you with the power and stability you need for fast, long-distance running. Completing the upper construction is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Altra Ego Pro Midsole
The middle of the Altra Vanich C's use responsive and high performing technology, providing feet with supreme cushioning and rebound. Altra Ego Pro is used through the construction and is Altra's lightest midsole foam design yet. This allows you to go the distance, whilst also providing cushioning in every step, mile-after-mile. To ensure feet remain stable, secure and comfortable, the shoes utilise a Balanced Cushioning Platform, which positions your heel and forefoot at an equal distance from the ground, therefore ensuring a low-impact landing. This zero-drop platform means that the feet have a more natural alignment with the ground. Additionally, the shoes have a rocker shape geometry which has been designed to give the feeling of forward propulsion with every step. This, therefore, ensure you have an efficient toe-off, without it taking anything away from your natural stride. A unique carbon half-plate, Carbitex, resides through the midsole construction of these running shoes and has been designed to flex naturally with your foot, therefore adding boost and propulsion to every stride. Finally, the soft insole allows the foot to sit comfortably inside the shoes.
EVA Foam Outsole
Providing feet with additional comfort, and flexibility underfoot, the shoes have an EVA foam outsole. The outsole will provide you with additional grip on roads, as well as, ensures they are durable to keep you going for miles.
