Hi-Tec Altitude VII Waterproof Walking Boots
Built for performance, the Hi-Tec Altitude VII has a leather upper, that provides durability and comfort. Dri-Tec and I-shield repels water and dirt and is resistant to stains whilst the Michelin rubber outsole delivers multi-surface traction.
Waterproof Leather Upper
Created with light hiking leather, the upper of the Altitude VII is extremely comfortable and durable perfect for those long days on the trails. The leather works to protect itself from knocks and scrapes whilst protecting the feet from injury. To keep the boots looking their best, Hi-Tec have included I-Shield technology on the outer, which repels water and resists stains. Increasing weather protection is Hi-Tec's waterproof technology, Dri-Tec. The waterproof membrane stops water and moisture from entering the boot, whilst simultaneously letting built-up heat and vapour escape, keeping your feet dry from the inside and out. Also, the boots have a micro-fleece moisture-wicking lining for a soft and comfortable feel. This wicks moisture and sweat and then transports it to the outer layer for quick evaporation. A mid-height cut provides ankle support on uneven terrain. Completing the upper is a rustproof hardware lacing system that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.
Compression Moulded EVA Midsole
The compression moulded EVA midsole offers long-lasting cushioning; the EVA attenuates shock impact reducing strain on the body and diminishing fatigue whilst offering plush underfoot cushioning so you can go further for longer. A durable, nylon fork shank has been included in the Altitude VII to provide extra stability on uneven terrain and improve your walking gait.
Michelin Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Hi-Tec Altitude VII has been constructed from Michelin rubber to deliver unprecedented traction and grip across all surfaces. It forms a solid bond with the ground beneath it thanks to multi-directional lugs that cut into the earth for unbeatable traction, no matter the conditions helping you to adventure with confidence and control.
