3D Mesh Upper
The Aero Glide 3 features a 3D open mesh upper for maximum breathability to keep feet feeling cool and fresh when under pressure. To reduce the risks of overheating and becoming uncomfortable, the running shoes provide feet with a constant supply of airflow to replace the warm, muggy air that forms around your feet when you're running, keeping you cool throughout. The uppers have a flexible construction to prevent restriction, allowing feet to move more naturally, meaning better movement through each stride. A soft, breathable textile lining and a seamless design, work alongside this for extreme comfort and a smooth, soft next-to-skin sensation, meaning irritation and chafing are prevented when running. Sewn-on overlays add durability and structure to the shoes, ensuring comfort and protection are provided, for the most enjoyable running experience possible. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lacing system, with eyelets for a locked-in, secure fit and the best possible in-shoe feel.

The Aero Glide 3 has an energyFOAM evo midsole compound a super foam composition which has been engineered to be super light in weight and responsive for energetic, bouncy strides. The cushioning ensures a super dynamic experience, with a PEBA and EVA mix for optimum comfort. The foam has a high stack, meaning outstanding underfoot cushioning, and maximum shock absorption to help reduce the impact when striking down on tough surfaces, reducing the risks of injury or discomfort. A Reverse Camber inspired by Salomon's ski heritage is curved to make you feel as though you're floating and propels you forward naturally for smooth transitions and a comfortable ride. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner matches the contours of your foot, to ensure superior cushioning, enhances the in-shoe breathability and enhances the overall performance of the shoes.
Contagrip Outsole
Specifically designed to accompany you on road surfaces and flat terrain, the Aero Glide utilise a Road Contagrip outsole. The outsole has a rubber construction for enhanced durability and optimal traction, whilst a combination of flat lugs and a wide lug profile is perfect for road running adventure, whilst being super durable to fight against more abrasive surfaces. The rubber offers a higher density of rubber in high-impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer.
