Forget choosing between speed and performance. The Adizero Distancestar shoes let you have the best of both worlds. Built to tear up the track, these lightweight shoes feature a spike plate outsole for intense traction so you can confidently accelerate and corner.

Lightweight Synthetic Upper

Made with a synthetic upper, these shoes are extremely lightweight and breathable. The upper material allows air to circulate freely between your feet, whilst letting hot, muggy air escape keeping them cool and letting you focus on the run ahead. Around the toes and down the side of the spikes adidas has added overlays, not only do they add durability and structure to the shoe, but they also protect the toes from bumps and scrapes. The synthetic heel also holds your foot firmly in place whilst running. Finished off with a traditional lacing system, to provide you with a locked-in feel and eye-catching colours to show the competition you're the real deal.

Moulded-EVA Midsole

The midsole of the adidas Distancestar Running Spikes has been constructed using a moulded EVA compound that delivers a great level of cushioning. It has been designed to be lightweight, responsive, and supportive, making these shoes ideal for either training or competing. The Midsole foam also helps to reduce the impact on your feet as they hit the track and cushions your feet reducing the risk of injury. The foam provides excellent rebound properties for maximum energy return, keeping you going over those longer-distance races.

TPU Outsole Plate

The outsole, made with TPU is extremely durable and ideal for any condition, making these shoes perfect for wet or dry weather. Featuring six spikes on the forefoot, these shoes allow you to fully dig into the track surface to propel you toward the finishing line. The rubber features on the outsole help to reduce wear and tear on the heel and off-toe areas. It also offers excellent traction and flexibility allowing you to gain maximum speed around corners while ensuring stability.
