Textile Upper
Providing lightweight breathability and excellent in-shoe comfort, the Adistar BYD utilises a durable textile upper. This comfortable material has strategic perforations placed around the feet to provide an excellent level of in-shoe comfort and prevent overheating thanks to the supply of air that flows through the construction of the shoes. Additionally, the textile upper is highly flexible, meaning feet will bend and move more comfortably. Designed in a regular fit, the shoes prevent feet from feeling restricted or trapped within the shoes. The textile lining within the Adistar BYD prevents feet from becoming irritated and helps to reduce chafing during movement. Moisture-wicking properties help to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture by removing it from the surface of your skin and dispersing it through the materials for a quick-drying experience. A traditional lace-up closure provides feet with a locked-in secure fit, allowing you to get the perfect feel, and preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring. Reflective elements ensure visibility in low light.
REPETITOR 2.0 Midsole
For excellent underfoot cushioning and stable, soft comfort, the Adistar BYD utilises Lightstrike Pro cushioning, alongside a REPETITOR 2.0 midsole compound. REPETITOR 2.0 is a dual-density foam made from recycled materials and provides a soft sensation, whilst also holding and stabilising your heel for comfortable strides. This will also provide excellent forward propulsion for an energised yet natural running stride. Working alongside this, the extremely lightweight Lightstrike Pro cushioning softens your landing, absorbing impact when striking down and helping reduce injury or discomfort when striking on hard and unforgiving surfaces. The Lightstrike Pro midsole also provides energy return for next-level speed, alongside a Distance Drive carbon-injected plate to aid distance drive.
Continental Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Adistar BYD utilises Continental Rubber, which provides you with grip and traction across varying surfaces, including wet conditions. This collaboration with Continental Rubber provides a performance-enhancing grip and durable traction for a distraction-free running experience.
