Built for lightweight comfort, the composition of the Terrex Icesky is made in a way that will guarantee this. With 90% Goose down as part of the insulation, these exceptionally soft and effective in retaining heat feathers will keep the heat in. This will mean that you will have an extra layer to keep you maintained to a comfortable level. Despite the heat retaining qualities, this won't mean that the jacket will feel too heavy. The down will sit on you to feel lightweight and comfortable, able to be packed down to a smaller size, allowing you to wear it as an outer or midlayer. On milder windier days, it will simply block out all windchill. As well as this, it can be an extra warm layer on cold days without causing too much bulk. Should you feel to warm or the need to take the jacket off, it can be packed into ints own hand or inner chest pocket for easy storage.
A water-repellent shell on the outside of the jacket will mean that in rainy conditions, the jacket will simply wick all moisture away from it. This will work to keep you feeling dry and lightweight on rainy days. As well as this, the down is naturally a repellent of water, so that will also keep you dry and comfortable. An elasticated hood serves as extra protection against the elements, while a full zip exists for adjustable airflow and coverage; zip down to quickly dump uncomfortable heat buildup and zip up to seal in the warmth on a chilly day. Long sleeves with elasticated cuffs help to provide a stay-put fit that seals in warmth whilst a high neck works to provide added protection from harsh winds. Lastly, side zip pockets provide safe storage for any personal items and a zip pack-it pocket on the chest allow the garment to fold into its self for easy storage.
