The adaptive canvas construction hugs your foot for a comfortable sock-like fit, ensuring you are well protected. Not only this, but the materials are durable, providing you with a protective layer, whilst the materials are soft, ensuring a high level of abrasion resistance and providing you with enjoyable wear. The boots have a high cut design, which therefore prevents dust, dirt and debris to keep you moving without distractions. A traditional lace-up closure provides feet with a secure, comfortable, locked-in fit, and helps to prevent in-boot slippage from occurring whilst wearing.

BOOST Midsole

Developed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole of the Terrex Free XPL Hiking Boots has been constructed using adidas' signature BOOST cushioning. adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams; absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance; keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you power down onto hard, unforgiving concrete. BOOST also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The Continental Rubber compound offers maximum traction on a variety of different surfaces. The highly durable compound allows you to grip the ground beneath in both wet and dry conditions to reduce the chance of you slipping. Delivering optimal traction on varied surfaces, the continental outsole uses the ideal combination of specialised rubbers and design. A strong lug pattern works equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces to ensure optimum, multisurface grip.
