RAIN.RDY Mesh Upper
The upper of these boots is crafted from a RAIN.RDY material that provides unparalleled comfort and breathability. The RAIN.RDY upper provides optimal waterproof protection to keep you dry so you can stay focused on tackling the tough trails ahead. This waterproof upper delivers abrasion-resistant waterproofing with superior ventilation thanks to mesh materials and synthetic overlays. Perforates in the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays reinforce the boot's protective, hiking-worthy state; increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards. A traditional lace closure system will make it easy to secure the boots to a comfortable fit. A soft padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation and improve comfort in vulnerable areas of the feet. Finishing the upper adidas have used a gusseted tongue to prevent debris and rocks from entering the boots reducing the risk of irritation, whilst out for long periods of time.
Made with a series of recycled materials, this upper features at least 50% recycled content. This product represents just one of adidas' solutions to help end plastic waste.
Lightweight EVA Midsole
The construction of the EVA midsole within the Terrex Eastrail 2.0 Mid RAIN.RDY is extremely lightweight, and despite being lightweight, it won't compromise any cushioning or comfort. The full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. A moulded sock liner sits comfortably against the skin and provides additional underfoot comfort.
Traxion Outsole
Developed using a Traxion rubber outsole, the adidas Terrex Eastrail 2.0 Boots ensure a reliable, optimum grip in all directions in all conditions. Traxion rubber is highly durable and lightweight yet still offers an unbeatable grip so remains grounded at all times. Multi-directional lugs will further hold you in place, especially on wet and muddy ground. This will assist with takeoffs, landings and changes of direction. Extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, the rubber will stand up against abuse from hard rockfaces, retaining its shape and definition to provide you with long-term functionality.
