Made for winter hikes, snowshoe adventures and long, cold days outdoors, the adidas Terrex winter boots are waterproof and fully insulated for complete comfort. This product has been made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.
Waterproof Textile Upper
To ensure feet remain comfortable and dry throughout your exploring, the boots have a waterproof textile upper. This uses a construction which keeps feet protected no matter what conditions you endure, alongside a moulded toe cap, which further ensures feet and toes are protected against knocks and bumps in changing, tough conditions. RAIN.RDY technology seals out slush, snow and rain to keep feet dry all day long. Allowing you to wear these boots in cold conditions, the boots have a COLD.RDY insulation which has been designed to effectively insulate your body during these tough conditions. To keep your feet secure when wearing them, the boots have a micro-adjustable fit, using the BOA Fit System. This provides you with an effortless on-and-off, whilst also providing a secure, consistent hold of your feet, meaning you can control the fit and feel of your boots. A padded tongue and collar feature through the Terrex Conrax for a comfortable fit, meaning irritation and abrasion are prevented.
Yarn used through the upper of these boots contain at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester.
BOOST Midsole
adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole: Boost. Boost offers long-lasting cushioning, energy return and high adaptability on rocky surfaces that won't stiffen up in the cold. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams; absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance; keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Boost also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole.
Stealth Winter Grip Rubber Outsole
Providing you with enhanced grip and traction on varied terrain, the Terrex Conrax BOA have a Stealth Winter Grip Outsole. The highly durable compound allows you to grip the ground beneath in both wet and dry conditions to reduce the chance of you slipping. Delivering optimal traction on varied surfaces, this outsole uses the ideal combination of specialised rubbers and design. Ensuring the perfect level of grip. the Terrex Free Hiker provides adaptable traction to tackle any rural area in any condition. A strong lug pattern works equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces to ensure optimum, multi-surface grip.
