adidas Adizero Prime X Running Shoes
The adizero Prime X is created as a boundary-breaking conceptual long distance running shoe. Designed without limitations to amplify key features of the adizero Adios Pro 2 and push the limits of the technology, this shoe also shares the same LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole and ENERGYRODS technology and stiffening blades, that spring back added within the heel.
CelerMesh Upper
The upper of the Adizero Adios 6 provides you with exceptional lightweight breathability. Air is easily able to enter and exit the shoes constantly, and this process will ensure that you will always feel ventilated no matter how hard your effort is. As you begin to sweat, the moisture is able to escape out of the shoe, which will keep your feet feeling fresh and dry. The construction is extremely lightweight, which will keep the overall weight of the shoe down to a minimum. This will mean that you will feel like you can push yourself further and faster than ever before. The mesh will also hug the feet, which will lock the feet in place for a more efficient stride. Thicker material surrounds the toes and the heel, providing protection from heavy forces and impacts. A traditional lacing system as well as a compression tongue system will provide you with a comfortable and secured fit.
Lightstrike EVA Midsole
adidas' signature Lightstrike EVA technology has been embedded into the Adizero Prime X. The lightstrike foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When your heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the midsole relaxes and releases the stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take off. As well as this, midsole also feature lightstrike cushioning which spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's. Completing the midsole is a carbon plate which works to provide a smooth transition during the gait cycle. The plate works with ENERGYRODS technology which supports your foot as you run and propels you forward to give you an extra spring in your step.
Continental Rubber Outsole
Developed using a continental rubber outsole, the adidas Adizero Prime X Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the Boost midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe. Stretchweb completes the Adizero Prime X by ensuring a flexible and energised ride. The web pattern has a large surface area that flexes naturally for increased ground feel and traction on varied terrain. The stretchweb outsole lowers the amount of pressure that is generated during the footstrike and in turn, lessens the impact on your feet to minimise injury and provide increased performance.
