Suede Leather Upper
Designed using a suede leather upper, the Asolo Acadia offers a wide range of protection whilst out on the trails. The suede leather protects the feet from debris and sharp objects and minimises the risks of wear and tear. The leather is also water-resistant to provide added protection at all times. The upper has been created using a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining that offers non-insulated protection to keep you dry and comfortably cool in moderate to warm conditions and during higher activity levels. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, the GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A rubber toe cap offers additional protection from loose debris and rocks while the soft, padded ankle collar and tongue sit close to the foot for optimal comfort. The heel pull tabs assist in putting the boots on and off and completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Mono-Density EVA Midsole
The midsole of the Acadia utilises a mono-density EVA to provide long-lasting cushioning and outstanding underfoot comfort. The EVA feels soft underfoot for increased comfort on expeditions but, the foam also provides ample support to spare your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The midsole ensures you can go further for longer by inundating shocks and protecting your feet when striking down and a softer EVA is co-injected in the rear part which disperses shock to propel you forward. The midsole ensures long-lasting comfort for long expeditions.
Asolo Acadia Rubber Outsole
Complteing the walking boot is an Asolo Acadia rubber outsole. Developed using a Signma Grip compound, the rubber provides excellent grip and durability and is perfect for outdoor activities. Ensuring multi-directional grip, the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're hiking or out for a stroll in the local park. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on challenging terrain and works to protect itself from damage and prevent you from losing control and slipping. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the outsole will perform time and time again. The outsole has self-cleaning lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.
