Breathable Mesh Upper
Providing your feet with breathability, the upper of the Zoom Rival Spikes has a single-layer mesh construction, which encases your feet comfortably. The single-layer mesh provides lightweight breathability in areas needed most without sacrificing proper containment. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a healthier environment for your feet to thrive. When temperatures rise the well-ventilated upper ensures a constant cooling effect so you can power through any workout easily. No-sew overlays support your heel and overlays on the toe tip offer durability. An arch band in the midfoot provides a dynamic lace-up fit and ensures your foot is supportively contained.
Cushioned Midsole and 4-Spike Outsole
Cushioning resides underfoot to deliver a soft, yet resilient and responsive ride. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, track surfaces. Extra cushioning is also present in the midfoot and heel to provide comfort when running longer distances and to ensure smooth, propulsive transitioning during footstrike. Offering elite traction on various tracks the shoes have four replaceable spikes. The outsole is made from a durable steel material to provide long-lasting durability and is also replaceable for long-term use. The shoes are versatile for distance events from 400 meters to 10,000 metres and secondary events such as the hurdles, long jump, triple jump, pole vault and cross country.
