The primary function of the Zone3 open water Swimming Gloves is to keep your hands insulated from the cold.
The body's extremities such as hands and feet always feel the cold so these gloves have been designed to allow swimming in cold water to be more manageable. After rigorous market research Zone 3 found that swimming gloves tend to slip off as well as start ballooning with water. The design outcome of this was by increasing the length of the gloves so they tucked over or under a wetsuit to ensure there is no exposed skin whilst a velcro strap keeps the gloves in place. Additionally, Zone 3 have removed webbing between the fingers to make swimming feel much more natural as well as reducing fatigue. For the sizing of the gloves, Zone 3 recommend small for ladies or men with smaller sized hands. Medium and Large is recommended for men based on their hand size.
