Leather and GORE-TEX Upper
Providing feet with optimum protection and outstanding levels of comfort, the X Ultra 360 Leather GORE-TEX has a GORE-TEX leather upper. The upper is highly durable and provides feet with a protective, breathable layer that shields feet from knocks and bumps on the trails. The breathable materials feature perforations for a constant supply of airflow that travels through the shoe's construction to keep feet fresh and cool throughout your adventures. Featuring strategically placed leather in areas that are usually high-wearing, the shoes have a durable, reliable upper, so you can enjoy every twist and turn on your hike. Additionally, a GORE-TEX membrane prevents water from entering the shoes during wet and changing weather, whilst having moisture-wicking properties to keep feet cosy and dry on those long hiking endeavours. A moulded toe cap prevents feet from hurting during knocks and bumps on the trail, whilst a full-foot mudguard also shields the shoes from damage. Finally, the shoes have a Quicklace closure to allow easy adjustments to be made and provide you with a locked-in and secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring during excessive movement.
EnergyCell Midsole
The X Ultra 360 Leather GORE-TEX incorporates Salomon's EnergyCell foam, which absorbs shocks and provides a comfortable landing for varied trail conditions. The soft, responsive cushioning adds spring to your step, ensuring constant hiking comfort and reducing the risk of injury or discomfort. An Ortholite sockliner also adds extra levels of comfort to further protect your feet when striking down on harsh and unforgiving surfaces. This also has moisture-wicking properties to ensure feet remain dry and cosy on your next adventures. Completing the midsole is an Advanced Chassis which provides lateral stability that you can feel without limiting freedom of movement and or impacting comfort.
All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole
Firmly gripping the ground below, the shoes have an All-Terrain Contagrip outsole. This durable compound provides you with optimised grip and traction on varying surfaces, including when traversing wet or slippery surfaces, which increases control and adhesion. Deep lugs adorn the outsole and provide you with optimum grip and traction, anchoring you in place. This will also encourage a comfortable push-off and a solid landing base, so you can feel confident in your strides.
