This combination of properties alongside an alpine fit makes the garment a perfect companion for long climbs in arid climates and makes them equally suited to strenuous treks through hot, humid foothills. The shorts feature an integrated belt alongside a button waist closure, as well as a leg tab adjustment, for an adjustable fit and feel. Alongside this, a microfleece-lined waistband is soft against your skin and prevents irritation when worn under a harness or pack. Finally, two front pockets and zipped rear and thigh pockets provide you with the space to store your essentials safely.
