Flat Knit Upper
Featuring a comfortable flat knit upper, the Velociti 3 from Under Armour had been designed to deliver zonal dynamic stretch, containment and breathability where you need it. The breathable fabrication allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst encouraging hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in and an EVA sockliner adds extra bounce and resiliency with every stride. A reinforced heel construction enhances lockdown and security at heel strike thanks to added foam in this area. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you enjoy distraction-free strides. It has been teamed with a winged tongue which adds midfoot hold and further containment with extra foam for reduced pressure on the top of the foot.
Flow Technology Midsole and Outsole
Constructed to be one of UA's lightest midsoles, the Flow Velociti 3 has been designed using Flow technology. Under Armour has created a new, dynamic, one-piece midsole technology that provides responsive and long-lasting cushioning whilst remaining extremely lightweight. UA Flow is the lightest midsole technology in UA's current running lineup, bringing unparalleled lightweight cushioning, the foam has naturally sticky traction, so traditional bulky overlays of the past aren't needed. The midsole is designed to provide responsive energy return and an abundance of cushioning so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. As well as this, Flow technology eliminates the rubber outsole, creating a more lightweight and seamless ride on any surface. The outsole pattern, which has been designed to be super-durable and grippy, gives a smooth natural footstrike.
Durable Rubber Outsole
To ensure a lightweight fit and feel, the Under Armour Flow Velociti 3 Running Shoes disrupt the design of a traditional running shoe by completely eliminating the rubber outsole, reducing the 2-3 ounces of weight that it adds, on average, from a traditional running shoe. The outsole is super-durable and increases ground traction to ensure complete control from the moment you put them on till the moment you take them off. This rubberless outsole provides higher traction than traditional compounds to grip the surface better. The outsole ensures grippy traction so you can run with confidence, with the elimination of traditional rubber increasing ground contact for a natural yet comfortable feel underfoot.
