The North Face Cragstone Leather Waterproof Hiking Shoes

Waterproof, breathable and abrasive-resistant, the Cragstone Leather Waterproof Hiking Shoes provide maximum grip on wet, slippy trails.

3D Nubuck Leather Upper

Supplying you with a durable layer of protection, the Cragstone Leather Waterproof Hiking Shoes use a moulded 3D nubuck leather vamp and quarter. These materials provide you with a long-lasting reliable shoe, that protects your feet when adventuring through changing conditions. Alongside this, is a DryVent Membrane, which is a waterproof material to provide protection to your feet in poor weather. DryVent is a seam-sealed fabric, engineered to be not only waterproof but windproof and breathable as well, to allow your feet to thrive. A constant supply of airflow is provided, to keep your feet feeling cool, even during high-heat active journeys. A scratch rubber toe and heel are added to the shoes, for protecting your feet in rugged terrain, preventing injuries from occurring and keeping you focused on the adventure ahead. Completing the upper is outdoor-inspired webbing and lace details, to keep your foot secure when wearing the shoes and prevent in-shoe slippage from occurring.

EVA Midsole

The Cragstone Leather Hiking Shoes has a lightweight, high-rebound EVA midsole, to keep your foot cushioned on the trail. The unit reduces impact from hard, unforgiving grounds, and helps to prevent injuries, whilst providing underfoot comfort for an enjoyable ride.

SurfaceCTRL Outsole

Designed to be hardwearing and grippy the Cragstone Leather Walking Shoes have been developed using The North Face's signature SurfaceCTRL Rubber Outsole. This durable compound has been specially designed to ensure traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on wet and dry terrain but it also works to ensure multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails yet, is flexible enough to adapt to different terrain so you can have complete control. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. The outsole is designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest terrains. Completing the outsole are 3.5mm lugs that provide a great balance between traction and durability on the trail. The lugs dig deep into wet mud and slippery rocks to ensure added traction and control. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
