Designed to keep hands dry and warm the Thaw Mitten from Trekmates has been designed with a windproof and water-resistant outer. The outer repels light rain and snow showers, keeping hands dry whilst preventing wind from penetrating the mitts and causing cold hands. Keeping hands warm the gloves use Primaloft Gold Eco insulation, providing best-in-class insulation designed for repeated compression and durability over time. Featuring 90% post-consumer recycled fibres made from plastic bottles, this unique low-bulk construction maintains thickness and continues to trap body heat even under compression. As this insulation is synthetic the gloves will retain heat even when wet. Trapping in heat and providing a soft next-to-skin feel the gloves have a brushed microfleece lining for a comfortable feel and all-day wear. Completing the mitts is an elasticated wrist and stretch cuff, providing a close fit whilst retaining heat and sealing out the elements. The mittens come with a stuff bag with a key clip included, providing a place to store them when not in use.
