When your heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the midsole relaxes and releases the stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take-off. It ensures a plush feel, stability, and responsive cushioning, handling every stride impact on rough surfaces.
