Mountain Equipment Tacul Waterproof Hooded Jacket
A lightweight, comfortable, packable waterproof jacket ideal for trekking and backpacking in the mountains. The Tacul jacket combines two weights of DRILITE waterproof fabric, making it both packable and durable enough for regular use with a pack. The Alpine fit is designed to provide unrestricted movement for all-day use, while the Mountain Hood offers dependable shelter in afternoon storms.
Created from a 2.5-layer DRILITE 50D fabric with a 75% recycled membrane and FC-free DWR, this jacket has been designed to keep you dry and comfortable during wet weather conditions. DRILITE is made with a thin, waterproof membrane, combined with breathable and comfortable materials, that allow built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst preventing water from entering from the outside, the jacket keeps you dry inside and out. The jacket includes 3-layer DRILITE fabric reinforcements to increase its durability and waterproofing properties. The alpine fit with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves allows for a wide range of movement without any restrictions holding you back. Adjustable laminated cuffs and dual tether hem drawcords enable you to adjust the fit to a more personal one. A Mountain Hood with Cohaesive cord locks is fully adjustable and allows you to find the perfect fit. Mountain Equipment has used a YKK moulded Aquaguard front zip that assists in taking the jacket on and off in a hurry whilst also regulating airflow. Completing the Tacul Jacket are two zipped pockets, providing plenty of space to store your essential items.
