Breathable Mesh Upper
Created with a mesh and synthetic upper, the Skechers Slip-Ins Summit is extremely breathable and lightweight. This means that as your little one becomes more active whilst wearing the shoes the warm air that builds up inside can escape. With this, sweat molecules will also be able to escape. This is then replaced by cooler air outside of the shoe, leaving your little one feeling fresh. The shoes feature Skechers Hands-Free Slip-in technology for an easy fit, which allows you to put the shoes on without having to bend down and touch the shoes. Not only this but the shoes also have Skechers Heel Pillow technology, that provides a comfortable locked-in fit. Around the toes, Skechers has added a toeguard which protects knocks and scrapes. A soft, padded tongue and ankle collar increase comfort and reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. Completing the upper are fixed stretch laces that don't need fastening, helping to slip the shoes on and off.
Cushioned EVA Midsole
Featuring a lightweight and flexible midsole, the shoes allow your little one to run freely with shock-absorbing comfort. The multi-functional midsole will benefit their foot by preventing heavy contact with the ground from causing discomfort, whilst the cushioning will provide a luxuriously soft next-to-skin feel. The EVA towards the bottom of the midsole is densely packed, which will absorb contact with sharp objects and heavy ground contact. The energy created will then be transferred into a rebound, giving a spring in their step. In direct contact with the foot and increasing underfoot comfort, the shoes have Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioned comfort insole, which provides a soft feel with every step you take.
Flexible Traction Outsole
The rubber used on the outsole is extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. This means that when you walk on rough and hard surfaces, the definition and shape of the outsole will not be affected, increasing the shoe's lifespan. The rubber can form a strong connection with the ground, keeping you in control on every step. Multi-directional grooves dig into surfaces and anchor your child's foot into place, giving them stability in certain movements and actions securing their foot as they take off, brake or change direction.
