The Scott RC Run Waterproof Pants matches the requirements for mandatory waterproof equipment established by the Skyrunner World Series and Ultra-Trail World Tour. The pants offer an ultra-lightweight Pertex Shield+ fabric and fully taped seams for ultimate protection.
The Waterproof Pants from Scott are constructed with Pertex Shield Fabric that provides lightweight waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable. The construction features a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that's applied to the face fabric and works hard to shed rain and snow which also helps to maintain breathable. In addition, Scott has helped the Pertex fabric by providing you with fully taped seams that will help enhance weather protection without slowing you down. Strategically placed laser cut holes and vent panels increase ventilation, allowing heat build-up to be released, keeping you comfortable when the temperatures start to rise.
Furthermore, the pants provide you with an elastic waistband that enhances comfort superbly, especially over long distances. An ankle zipper allows you to get the pants on and off easily as well as provides additional ventilation if needed while lastly, reflective details enhance your visibility during low-light conditions, keeping you seen at all times.
