Scarpa Rush 2.0 GORE-TEX Walking Boots
The classic Rush GORE-TEX has been updated to make an even more dynamic and comfortable boot, allowing you to explore the trails. Characterised by a strong SCARPA identity and designed for those who approach the mountains at a faster pace and require support as well as greater protection.
GORE-TEX Upper
Providing your feet with a perfect balance of comfort, breathability and protection, the Rush 2 GORE-TEX Boots utilise a GORE-TEX upper construction. These materials will work excellently to repel water, rain and moisture from your boots during poor weather on your next adventures, allowing you to remain exceptionally comfortable and for you to enjoy every stride. The fabrication of the upper also protects feet from knocks and bumps on the trail, and PU reinforcements further add durability to the construction of the boots. The waterproof boots allow you to traverse all aspects of the trail, whilst a reinforced toe-box ensures that the changing terrain doesn't impact your comfort by providing a great level of protection for your toes and feet. Finally, a traditional lace-up system keeps feet locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.
EVA Midsole
A compressed EVA platform resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. The boots have a new anti-torsion system which helps to improve stability and heel containment, and a sock-fit construction reduces bulks and enhances the fit of the boots.
Scarpa IKS Outsole
Exceptional grip and control are guaranteed in a wide range of different terrains, and on different surfaces with the IKS outsole. The rubber is able to form a solid connection to the ground which will create strong traction. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, which will retain its shape and definition despite being put to the test of hard and rough surfaces. This will mean that the long-term functionality of the outsole is maintained well. Lugs and grooves will provide extra grip, especially in wet conditions, by anchoring the feet in place to provide a strong base to push on from.
