Suede Leather Upper
For ultimate performance and outstanding in-shoe comfort, the Haglofs Scand features a suede leather upper, which is durable and tough, for a reliable companion. Suede leather has a soft exterior for style and comfort and with a durable construction, allows you and the boots to remain shielded from knocks, bashes and bumps on the constantly changing trail. The GORE-TEX membrane has been designed for a wide range of outdoor activities and works to ensure that your feet remain dry and comfortable no matter the weather. GORE-TEX is not only durably waterproof and breathable, but it is also robust and hardwearing, giving you maximum protection and comfort no matter how demanding the hike is. Reinforcements in the toe and heel provide further durability while the heel pull tabs assist in putting the boots on and off. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to lock your foot down, and comfortably in place.
EVA Midsole
A full-length EVA midsole offers extensive cushioning and protection from rough or rocky ground, allowing you to hike in comfort without worrying about your feet. The midsole also works to absorb shocks as your foot strikes the ground reducing strain on the foot. The EVA compound takes the energy created from heel striking and transfers it to this layer where it can be used to catapult you off into your next step.
Vibram XS Trek Rubber Outsole
Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the Vibram XS Trek rubber outsole. This rubber outsole is light in weight whilst also remaining very durable and offering a good grip. The outsole is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, the grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces.
