Hanwag Rotpunkt Light Low GORE-TEX Women's Walking Shoes
The Rotpunk Low GORE-TEX is celebrating its comeback. Inspired by the legendary design of Hanwag climbing shoes from the 1980s, the Rotpunkt combines heritage vibes alongside functional details. The robust leather and Cordura upper, lightweight outsole with optimum grip, and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX make it an ideal companion for outdoor and approach use as well as around town.
GORE-TEX Upper
Made from a combination of durable Cordura and long-lasting split leather, the Rotpunkt Light Low protects and shields feet when hiking long and changing trail conditions. This combination of materials keeps the shoes long-lasting and highly reliable whilst remaining comfortable on difficult journeys, and high levels of breathability prevent overheating or discomfort during more intense hiking adventures. Working alongside this is a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane for keeping your feet dry and feeling fresh, even during unpredictable weather conditions. GORE-TEX stop water from entering the shoes during rainy hikes and has moisture-wicking properties to prevent the growth of sweat from within the shoes to also keep them dry during hot, active periods. Further protecting feet and the shoes on difficult adventures, the shoes have a rubber scree protection rand for shielding feet and the shoes from knocks, bumps and scrapes when traversing changing trails. A soft collar and tongue sit comfortably against your feet, preventing irritation or chafing whilst keeping the shoes secure. The shoes have a front and rear attachment loop for attaching them to your pack or harness with a carabiner. The traditional laces provide you with a secure, locked-in fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring when moving around.
EVA Midsole
For comfort and cushioning on long adventures, the shoes have a soft EVA midsole compound. Providing comfortable strides and a soft landing platform, the Rotpunkt allow you to enjoy every trail adventure. With shock-absorbing properties, the midsole absorbs the impact that can be caused by striking down onto tough and tricky hiking terrains, preventing the risks of injury or discomfort on long and difficult journeys. Vibram Outsole
The walking shoes feature a Vibram outsole, a lightweight, flexible compound that provides you with optimum grip and traction across a variety of outdoor adventures and in approach settings. The outsole also makes it perfect for city adventures, providing you with versatility and comfort, allowing you to stay supported and stable no matter where your journey takes you. Adorning the outsole are deep, grippy lugs that provide you with the grip and traction you need across long, changing terrain.
