The Zanskar GORE-TEX is a hardwearing waterproof shell, made with 70D 3-layer GORE-TEX, to provide complete wet weather protection, and has been made with a 100% recycled face fabric. The jacket is an excellent addition for hillwalkers, hikers and explorers alike, specifically during the winter months, due to its reliability during rough conditions. The GORE-TEX fabric present throughout this jacket is durable, waterproof, windproof and breathable, supplying you with all the comfort and cosiness you need on your next winter adventure. Not only this, but the jacket will protect you from light snow to heavy rain, keeping you dry whilst also allowing sweat vapour to efficiently escape for optimum comfort on the move. When the journey begins to heat up, you can dump any excess heat using the underarm vents.
The jacket has a two-way adjustable hood which can be easily cinched in using one hand when you're negotiating tricky terrain and can be rolled away when the weather improves. The hood also has a protective stiff peak which keeps the rain off your face. It has been designed to move easily with your head, ensuring that visibility is unhindered when you need it the most. To supply and organise your belongings, the Zanskar has multiple pockets, including 3 external pockets which use YKK AquaGuard zips and an internal zipped pocket for easy access to your items. To get easy access to and from the jacket, there is a two-way YKK Vislon centre front zip with a lower snap fastener and fleece-lined chin guard for comfort, which will also double up as a great way to provide airflow. To prevent windchill the jacket has a dual-sided mitt-friendly rear hem adjustment, and an extended cuff with hook and loop adjusters, allowing you to fit mitts or gloves under.
