Rab Kinetic Alpine 2.0 Jacket
The Rab Kinetic Alpine 2.0 Jacket features updated materials and an improved fit to make this classic even better. The stretchiness of a softshell and the waterproof capabilities of a hardshell creates a jacket halfway between the two. It's perfect for use in the same situations as you'd normally use a softshell, but where the weather may be a little more changeable. Rab have cleverly increased the durability of the fabric by reinforcing the high wear areas with a woven stretch polyamide. Like a traditional softshell, the jacket offers exceptional next-to-skin comfort as well as wicking properties.
Constructed using Rab's own Proflex fabric, the Kinetic 2.0 is recycled as well as stretchy, breathable, lightweight and 100% waterproof making it ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities. The inside of the jacket features a soft knitted fabric that sits next to the skin for exceptional comfort whilst a woven stretch polyamide reinforcement high wear areas such as the shoulders, arms and hood. The hood features a stiffened peak to ensure that the worst of the rain is kept off of your face and is fully compatible with a helmet. The hood has front and rear adjusters allowing you to customise the hood to suit your needs. A 2-way YKK aquaguard front zip allows you to control airflow as well as providing easy access to a climbing harness. Providing extra protection from the elements is an adjustable hem and adjustable cuffs that work to seal out wind chill. Two A-line pockets with YKK aquaguard zips offer easy access to your essentials even when wearing a harness or pack hipbelt. These zipped pockets ensure that your belongings stay safe and secure no matter the activity. Now with a regular fit, the Rab Kinetic Alpine Jacket can easily be layered up with additional layers underneath it without creating excess material that flaps around in the wind.
