Power Wire Mesh Upper
Supporting you across all distances, the Prodigio Pro utilises La Sportiva's cutting-edge Power Wire technology alongside a Wrapping System for a comfortable, focused fit. Power Wire technology delivers you incredible precision and maximum power transmission to the ground, whilst ensuring a precise, comfortable fit and a much-needed boost on long trails. With a durable, yet breathable construction, the upper provides outstanding protection, to prevent the risks of damage to the shoes, and discomfort, so that feet can enjoy every adventure and keep them feeling fresh. A seamless design prevents irritation or chafing from occurring when moving more intensely, keeping you focused on the journey ahead. The Wrapping System ensures that your foot remains secure within the shoes and feet feel stable from start to finish of your trail. Working with this, is a Knit Lining, a stretchy construction that allows feet to slip straight into the shoes comfortably, keeping things stable and wraps around your ankle to keep dirt and debris out. Featuring 100% recycled laces the shoes keep your foot locked-in and secure, and prevent in-shoe slipping during excessive movement.
XFlow Speed Midsole
The Prodigio Pro's are super comfortable, soft and cushioned, to ensure you're prepared to navigate those long ultra sessions and tackle difficult trail adventures. The supercritical foam provides outstanding cushioning and incredible energy return, helping you navigate a wide range of trail conditions, from jagged ridgelines to central park concrete. High-level shock absorption provides you with optimum comfort and keeps you focused on the path ahead, by absorbing impact, when striking down on tough and unpredictable surfaces, reducing the risks of discomfort or injury. An XFlow protective layer improves the rebound and shock absorption, to optimise in-shoe comfort further. Working alongside this, the shoes feature an enhanced heel rocker for improved landing and turn-over, and to push you forwards when running, for a natural stride.
FriXion White Outsole
The Prodigio Pro features a FriXion White outsole compound, to provide outstanding grip and traction across a wide range of surfaces and trail conditions. FriXion white is the stickiest, grippiest outsole compound from La Sportiva, leaving no trace, with a long-lasting, reliable compound for keeping you ready to tackle every hurdle. Working with this is a Rubber Metatarsal Protection, which are rubber side panels to amplify stability as well as, protect your midfoot for comfort on all areas of the trail. Adorning the outsole are 4mm lugs which dig deep onto soggy, wet or muddy surfaces to ensure that even during tougher conditions, you can remain stable and secure with the surface below.
