Lightweight recycled polyester/elastane hike pants made for long, active days on the trail and year-round performance.

Get closer to nature in these Patagonia Altvia Trail Pants. Crafted from an 86% recycled polyester/14% elastane dobby fabric with four-way stretch, these pants allow for total freedom of movement, ideal for challenging terrains. The fabric has received a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating to keep you dry without harmful chemicals. The pants have been cut for moderate leg articulation and a straight panel gusset through the inseam for even further movement. A partially elasticised waistband sits comfortably against the skin, for a secure fit that doesn't cut in. The trouser cuffs feature internal gussets and zippers to extend the width of the cuff to fit over heavy walking boots. Zippered front pockets, two zippered back pockets and one zippered thigh pocket (all with drainage) provide you with plenty of options for storing items easily and securely. These pants have been sewn in Fair Trade Certified conditions, meaning that the workers work in safe working conditions and the environment is protected in the process.
