Ripstop Mesh Upper
Offering your feet with an exceptional level of protection and cool air on the trail, the Cloudvista 2 features a lightweight ripstop mesh upper. The upper contains your feet in a wonderful layer of breathability, to encourage cool air to circulate to help regulate temperature and also provide you with moisture-wicking comfort. Perforations in the fabrication allow warm, uncomfortable air to be effectively replaced by cool, fresh air so you can remain focused on the trail ahead. To prevent discomfort and irritation, the Cloudvista features a padded collar and tongue, which sits against your foot for ultimate comfort. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that provides you with a locked-in fit and helps to prevent in-shoe slippage from occurring.
Advanced Midsole and Outsole
Utilising a combination of technologies reside underfoot to provide you with an exceptional level of cushioning, comfort and stability on the trails. Utilising advanced cushioning technology, the Cloudvista 2 uses On's unique CloudTec construction, which works alongside the Helion superfoam to supply you with a perfect level of cushioning and energy return. This combination of technologies will provide you with a balanced level of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable and provide a soft landing, whilst simultaneously absorbing impact, reducing strain and adapting to your running style. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds as you run does more than just absorb impact, reduces braking force and propels you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Working alongside this, the shoe features a newly reengineered two-prong Speedboard to increase forward propulsion, allowing a more natural stride. The plate will provide you with propulsion and enhance explosive take-offs during every stride, by bending and flexing with your run to propel you forward, faster assisting you when hitting the trail. Keeping you stable and providing grip on the trails is a MissionGrip outsole, which features squared lugs in the heel and forefoot, as well as, multi-angled lugs in the shank and toe area. This unique construction provides you with even more traction on a variety of surfaces.
